What an honor it was to have so many public servants join us last Sunday for Public Servants Day! We had the privilege to hear from Chuck Hasty, one of our faithful church members who has been in law enforcement for many years, and Vernon Davis, Chairman of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners, during the morning service. Fats Warren, also one of our faithful members and a retired sheriff of Halifax County, gave his salvation testimony and was a blessing to us all.
It was a wonderful sight to see so many men, women, and children lined up after the service to thank our public servants and tour their vehicles in the parking lot too! This is always such a special day of the year at VBC.
